Café Patisse has been on my ‘must visit’ list for way too long. I have quite a few friends who absolutely LOVE it, and yes – they do love cake, just like me!
The first branch opened in Emmerentia a couple of years ago, and the brand has just grown from strength to strength, one gorgeous pastry at a time!
This patisserie chain expanded to Greenside (137 Greenway) recently. The ideal opportunity to pop in, don’t you think?? Ohhhh yes!
This is the perfect spot of a beautiful breakfast, a coffee date with friends, a lazy lunch.
First take a walk through the store though, you will be wowed by the gorgeous baked goodies.

While we were enjoying our breakfast, I noticed quite a few of these stunning unicorn cakes being collected. This must be a Café Patisse’s best seller. Isn’t it pretty??
A morning must start with a good cup of coffee, don’t you agree? We took a seat outside and enjoyed the winter sun, chatting up a storm and watching the world go by. Now that is how you ease into the weekend. Bliss.
I decided to try something different and opted for the banana and peanut butter oats. Oh yes, comfort food for breakfast! It was SO good, I will definitely go back for more.
I could sit there the entire day and try EVERYTHING. Le Sigh. So relaxing, beautiful food, great company (thanks Mike, Maya and Maya’s Mom.) I got some ‘takeaways’ that we DEVOURED for breakfast the next day.
These decadent pastries were still super fresh and tasty. What a lovely treat!
I’m definitely going back to Café Patisse, there are way too many other goodies I must try! Like those koe(k)sisters!
Look out for their artisanal bread range, as well as ice-cream coming soon! They also stock gluten free products, so go and check it out. You will not be disappointed.
