I am such a huge fan of Andy Watts and the amazing work he is doing with Three Ships and Bains Cape Mountain Whisky!
So I was quite excited to receive this information via Press Release:
Share an incredible experience with master distiller Andy Watts as he presents a rare Three Ships Whisky master class at The Only Whisky Show to be held on 27 and 28 July in Sandton.
Andy will present all the single malts launched in the history of Three Ships including the sold-out 10-year-old single malts of 2003 and 2010, recently launched vintage 2005, a sneak-preview of the soon to be launched 2006 vintage and a taste of one of the oldest single malts currently in maturation at The James Sedgwick Distillery situated in Wellington.
The tasting will offer consumers a glimpse into the incredible strides the South African whisky industry has made in the short space of only 40 years as well as share the vision which Andy has brought to life over three decades.
The Only Whisky Show will be held at The Tin Factory in Kramerville on 27 and 28 July from 18.00 until 22.00. With only 400 tickets available each night, the whisky experience will be intimate and engaging. Tickets cost R450 per person, which includes a crystal whisky tasting glass, access to taste close to 200 whiskies and three copper coupons for three tastings of the rarer and very limited whiskies. The private master classes are offered for an additional R200.
