Fire & Feast! Sounds like my kind of Festival!

Oh yes!  Did I hear right???  A festival for all meat lovers!  Bring it on!

The focus of this festival is definitely to educate, share and provide a better understanding of the meat industry – and is a must for all meatlovers!  And it does’t ONLY have meat – there will also be a Castle Tank Beer Garden, a Wine Pairing Zone and the SA Free Flame championship.  Sounds like a weekend of fabulousness!

The highlight will definitely be SA’s inaugural National Butcher’s Challenge. The leading butchers will go head to head, competing as twelve teams of six buthers showing off their Grade A skills, and will compete for the title of South Africa’s National Butcher’s Challenge Champion.  The best butchers from each team with represent South Africa at the World Butcher’s Challenge in Ireland next year – so a lot to carve for!

  1. My favorite marinade has to be a smoky peri peri sticky marinade that you apply to a rack of ribs after you have flame grilled them. Great taste plus it’s generally the only marinade you apply after cooking 😁 #BoozyFireFeast
